The International Builders Show, hosted by the National Association of Home Builders in Vegas last month, was a treasure trove of exciting and innovative products for homeowners and builders alike. From paint colors to bathtubs to fireplaces, the show had everything that you could possibly need to create the perfect home.

One of our favorite booths was the Sherwin-Williams paint colors. Sherwin-Williams is known for its high-quality paints and trend research, and the colors that were showcased at the show did not disappoint. From deep blues and warm grays to soft whites and creamy beiges, there were so many options to choose from. These paint colors were especially well-suited to some of the latest design trends, such as grand millennial, curated maximalism, Japandi, and farmhouse evolved.

In the Kohler booth, we found perfectly styled vignettes showcasing their insights on the trends. The grand millennial style is all about incorporating traditional elements into modern design. This style was on full display at the show, with vendors showcasing chintz, antiques, and floral prints. Sherwin Williams paint colors like Naval and Urbane Bronze were perfect choices for this style, providing a bold backdrop for these classic design elements.

Curated maximalism is a design trend that incorporates bold colors, patterns, and textures in a carefully curated way. This style is perfect for those who want to express their individuality and create a space that truly reflects their personality. The Kohler infinity experience bath was the perfect addition to this style, with its sleek and modern design and customizable water experience.

Japandi is a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design, resulting in a minimalist and balanced aesthetic. Sherwin William’s paint color Alabaster was a great choice for this style, providing a soft and serene backdrop that is perfect for creating a peaceful and calming space.

Finally, farmhouse evolved is a modern take on the classic farmhouse style, incorporating clean lines, minimalism, and a neutral color palette. The Sherwin-Williams paint color Agreeable Gray was a popular choice for this style, providing a warm and versatile backdrop that is perfect for creating a cozy and inviting space.

In addition to these design trends and paint colors, there were also some other exciting products on display at the show.

  • Architectural grilles were a popular feature, providing a decorative and elegant touch that can be used as room dividers, wall panels, cabinet inserts, and HVAC covers.
  • Net zero fireplaces were also a hit, providing a clean and eco-friendly way to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a fireplace.
  • Free-standing bathtubs were a luxurious addition to any bathroom, offering a spa-like experience that can elevate the entire design of the room.

Who could forget the memorable marketing from Kohler? This product highlight garnered more reels and stories than one can imagine!

Overall, the International Builders Show was a great opportunity to see the latest trends and products in homebuilding and design. From all the colors to bathtubs to fireplaces, there was no shortage of cool and innovative products to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a classic style or a modern and minimalist aesthetic, there’s a product out there that can help you bring your vision to life.
