Among the vast array of things that COVID-19 has changed in our society, one of the biggest is how we look at our home. What We’ve Learned (So Far)

To say that we are living in unprecedented times would be underselling it at this point. There is no doubt that 2020 has been a strange, challenging, and stressful decade…uh, seven months. At times it feels like years. However, we are using this time to learn and grow. Because as they say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Right? Being Responsive to Home Buyers’ Needs and Wants

Providing responsive design for today’s home buyer is imperative. After weeks (in some cases, months) of shelter and safer at home orders, we have all spent an extraordinary amount of time in our homes. As a result, desires, and expectations for what we want in our overall home design has changed. Some of the ideas had been brewing for a while. As it is an interior designer/model merchandiser’s goal to meet a buyer’s wants and needs, incorporating these wishes into model home designs is key.

To quote the great Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” The same can be said about COVID-19 information. Our knowledge and understanding of the virus is changing constantly. We are learning more every day about how it is spread, precautions we should be taking, and as well as how to conduct business safely these days. It’s important to stay on top of the information so we don’t miss it. It’s helpful to know there are resources you can go to, with reliable, update to date information.
