Dear Friends,

Summer has flown by! I can’t believe it’s back to school time already. It’s been a while since I had to get my son Ari ready for the first day of school. But I still remember it all so clearly. The frantic running around the night before making sure the perfect outfit was laid out, lunch packed, and all the appropriate paperwork was filled out, signed, and ready to go. Only to wake up the next morning running around like chickens with our heads cut off because we couldn’t find anything! Ah, fun times…

I’m excited to share this newsletter because I feel it has a lot of helpful techniques you can (and should) apply in your model homes to help show your prospective buyers that you understand them. You know that they are looking for a home that will help them feel in control, at peace, and organized. Not just during this back to school time, but all year ‘round. Enjoy! Back to School Merchandising  
For many of us, this is a crazed time of year where making and adhering to schedules are our priorities. To help prospective home buyers see that your home will help them during this hectic time and beyond, there are several merchandising techniques we use in our models. All in an effort to help sell the dream of a stress-free (or minimally stressful, anyway) back to school time.
 
Merchandising Kid’s Bedrooms
Kids’ bedrooms in a model can be a powerful selling tool if merchandised correctly. A well-merchandised child’s bedroom – one that is functional and has personality – can tug on the heartstrings and be the deciding factor in a home purchase.
 
 
Importance of Kid Spaces in your Model   
When done correctly, merchandising kid-focused rooms and spaces can be effective selling tools. They can spark joy, bring out the kid in all of us, and it can be what sets your model apart from the competition.
