Susan Montgomery’s Frightening Halloween Fingers – Creepy and Delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 stick Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar (approx.)
- Pretzel Sticks
- Sliced Almonds
- Red Cake Decorating Gel (glossy)
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, and vanilla, and then add enough powdered sugar until it forms a stiff dough. You may need to mix with your hands, this dough should be very stiff.
Form a finger around the pretzel stick. (Pretzel stick acts as bone.) Use a whole almond sliver as a fingernail, and carve knuckle marks with a butter knife. Cover the “severed” end of the finger with “blood” (red decorating gel.) Keep refrigerated for the best taste. Fairly realistic looking and yummy.
