Lita Dirks to “Present” at IBSx 2021 – The Virtual NAHB International Builders’ Show
For 76 years, NAHB’s International Builders’ Show (IBS) has been where the industry comes together to learn, see new products, talk, and laugh. This year, IBS is going all virtual. The educational sessions and events are being offered in a variety of ways: on-demand, semi-live (where presentations will be pre-recorded with presenters available online for Q & A), and live. All of the live or semi-live sessions will be recorded and available to registrants until March 31, 2021.
Lita will be collaborating with colleagues to present at two different education sessions. Her sessions include:
When? Wednesday, February 10 | 2:00 – 2:45 PM EST | Semi-Live
Why attend? Small spaces are the hidden gems of well-designed homes. From a luxuriously detailed primary bath to a thoughtful and efficient office, or a sleek wine room, these jewel box and flex spaces can make a potential buyer say, “Wow!” This panel of experts will walk you through design details, plan considerations, finishes, and tech needs of many overlooked and underappreciated small spaces. They will be sharing information that can help your homes sell.
When? Available On-Demand
Why attend? The 55+ consumer is often misunderstood, yet full of massive opportunities across all industry disciplines and housing types when navigated strategically. This session will focus on providing builders winning strategies for research, planning, design, sales and marketing for greater profitability in the 55+ housing market.
What the Builders’ Show Means to the Building Industry
Lita explains, “I look forward to IBS every year and was afraid it wouldn’t happen this year. I am so glad that NAHB has figured out how to make this same incredible experience virtual. While I will miss the ‘passing in the hall reunions,’ I know it’ll be a fantastic event.” Lita goes on to say, “I feel fortunate to be able to share the information from these sessions and to be collaborating with these incredibly knowledgeable professionals. I look forward to seeing everyone in-person next year.”
